We're Hiring Group Class Instructors and Personal Trainers!
Group Class Instructor
Schedule: Morning classes, Monday to Sunday (6:00 AM - 9:00 AM) - guaranteed 6 classes per week
Compensation: Tiered class pay ($30-44/class). If interested in personal training, starting rate is 50% of cost of client’s personal training package, with the opportunity to increase to 65% with prior certification and adequate level of experience.

Role Description:

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Class Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching our variety of fitness classes, including full-body workouts, strength training, mobility-focused sessions. As an instructor, you will lead classes in accordance with PhaseFit’s methodology, ensuring clients experience effective and engaging workouts that focus on improving strength, mobility, endurance, and overall functional fitness. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in promoting classes and expanding our schedule by filling spots for upcoming slots and new classes.

Class Instruction:

Lead engaging, challenging, and fun classes designed to build strength and resilience in alignment with PhaseFit’s methodology. Incorporate a variety of equipment, such as dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, sandbags, rowers, ski ergs, and assault bikes.

Keep clients engaged and motivated with different workouts in every session, targeting all planes of motion for a balanced, challenging experience.

Ensure clients maintain proper form and technique to maximize results and minimize injury.

Adapt classes to meet varying fitness levels while maintaining the intensity and effectiveness of the workout and keeping things fresh and fun.

Class Promotion & Expansion:
-
Actively promote and fill classes that we are looking to expand or introduce in available timeslots.

Work closely with the management team to develop new classes or modify existing ones based on customer demand.

Assist in increasing membership and attendance through word of mouth, social media, and community engagement.

Client Engagement:
-
Build relationships with clients, providing encouragement, feedback, and personalized adjustments to help them reach their goals.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all participants, ensuring everyone feels supported in their fitness journey.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other instructors to deliver a seamless and cohesive class schedule.

Attend team meetings, share insights, and provide suggestions to improve overall client experience.

Availability:
-
Be available to teach morning classes between 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM at minimum of 3 days per week.

Flexibility to work on other days and times as the schedule grows.

Required Qualifications:
-
Certification:
-
Fitness instructor certification (ACE, NASM, or equivalent).
-
200 hours of group class instruction.
-

Experience:
-
Previous experience teaching fitness classes in group settings, particularly strength and conditioning, functional training, or youth sports.

Comfortable instructing a variety of clients, from beginners to seasoned athletes.

Personality & Skills:
-
High-energy, approachable, and motivating personality.
-
Strong communication and leadership skills.
-
Ability to adapt and personalize instructions based on individual client needs.

Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to demonstrate exercises and lead classes that may include strength training, cardio, mobility, and functional movements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching or training in EXOS methodology.
-
Specialized certifications in group fitness or specific strength training, kettlebell training, or injury prevention.

Ability to use social media and/or personal networks to promote classes and increase client participation.

Interest in and experience with personal training.

Personal training sessions will include full-body workouts, strength training, and mobility-focused movements. As a trainer, you will ensure clients experience effective and engaging workouts that focus on improving strength, mobility, endurance, and overall functional fitness. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in bringing in more personal training clients to the gym. Trainers will be subject to PhaseFit’s initial assessment protocol.

Required Qualifications:

Certification:

100 hours of personal training instruction.
